Act To Change’s annual campaign brings together youth, brands, creators, and corporate partners to raise public awareness, elevate AAPI youth voices, and mobilize nationwide action against bullying and identity-based harassment.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time to stand united against bullying and spotlight its lasting impact, especially on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth. Bullying isn’t one brief incident. It is ongoing and unwanted, often negatively shaping how young people see themselves and their place in the world.

Join The Movement
Awareness alone doesn’t stop bullying. Action does.
AAPI youth face unprecendented levels of identity-based harrassment, with studies showing that over 80% of AAPI youth experience in-person or online bullying, and nearly 1 in 3 face anti-Asian discrimination daily. Yet, bound by cultural stigma and the model minority myth, their experiences are overwhelmingly met with silence.
Bullying isn’t an isolated incident between two people—it is a tool of larger systems of oppression.
To build true safety, we must disrupt the cycle. Real disruption starts with active intervention. When everyday people step in to interrupt harassment and make a public commitment to allyship, we dismantle systemic silence. A public pledge lets AAPI youth know they aren’t alone. It shows them exactly who will stand by them, speak out, and protect them.
This ACTober, we are breaking the silence. We are turning bystanders into upstanders and isolation into belonging. Take the pledge to Act To Change them.
Take the Pledge
Take the first step in building the movement for belonging and inclusion. By taking the Act To Change pledge, you are making a public commitment to stand up and speak out against bullying.

- Promote empathy, belonging, and inclusion in your community.

- Intervene safely and effectively when you witness bullying happening.
